2024 is set to bring its challenges for everyone in cybersecurity.

From growing threats and an increasing attack surface, as the world becomes ever more digital, to more onerous regulatory requirements and the risks posed by artificial intelligence, CISOs will be busy.

And this comes as the global skills crisis, is, if anything, worse than ever.

How, then, will cybersecurity professionals navigate their way through the coming year?

Our guest this week has some advice. Chris Dimitriadis is chief global strategy officer at ISACA, and he agreed to come back on the show to share his thoughts and predictions for 2024. And he suggests some ways that security teams can deal with the inevitable challenges.

This includes thinking about how we deploy technologies such as AI, how secure design will be increasingly important, how security professionals need to improve communications with their boards, and how we need more cooperation between industry and government.
